SPECIAL NOTE***
You will want to be sure they stay facing parallel to the rope to pass. At the end of this video you see him rotate his body. This indicates he will need a little more practice. When chanting ... Jump Froggie, Jump .... You can substitute a clap instead of the word 'jump' if your reader has the tendency to jump every time they hear the word 'jump' ... the chant can look like this instead... "Jump Froggie, Jump Froggie, Jump, (Clap), Jump..." |

SPECIAL NOTE***
The Instructions say to toss the ball with each hand, You will need a smaller bouncy ball for that (one approximately 2-3 inches in diameter so it can easily be held in one hand), OR you can have them use BOTH HANDS with a larger ball. It is too difficult to hold the larger ball with one hand to under-toss. |

SPECIAL NOTE***
It is important to keep a slower rotation around the figure eight and to stay on the panther path. If the crayon goes outside of the black path they are going too fast so have them slow down. Complete the 5-7 times in three sets so a total of 20 or more rotations each day. ALSO, If your reader totally destroys the panther figure eight you can use construction paper and a bowl to outline two circles to create a figure 8 as shown on the bottom of the Activity sheet. |

SPECIAL NOTE***
If the reader can complete this task quickly with out feeling it being a challenge, hold the strip up at eye level for 10 seconds, lay the strip down so the shapes can not be seen and have them find the shapes and put them in order according to their memory recall. Shapes should be correct and in the right order shown on the paper. |
