Backcountry Preparedness:  Jensen Odde

Many people are not prepared enough when playing in the out doors. Learn some great tips to help you be better prepared in the backcountry. Join in on our class discussion of what we need to have to be prepared. This discussion will include the physical items needed as well as the knowledge and mental preparedness we can improve on now to better meet the unexpected when spending time in the backcountry.

Back to Basics: Building Healthy Habits & Functional Fitness : Katie Bagley

When it comes to health and fitness, the basics still work! We don’t need gimmicks, special diets or a secret supplement.  We are bombarded with messages that insinuate that we cannot meet our goals without a secret program or an expensive supplement, and we are often told that there are forces working against us to make it impossible (age, lack of time, injuries, etc). The fundamentals of good health are balanced nutrition and movement, and we can all make small changes that impact our lives in a healthy way. This class will focus on the basics of health and wellness, and discuss how to build healthy habits to carry throughout all stages of life.

Bear Aware: Warden James Hobbs

Practice being bear aware! learn the signs and types of bears and what to do in an interaction with each kind. Practice your skills to protect yourself in an mock bear encounter.

BFF: You and Your Body: Heidi Bodrero

Your body is the most amazing friend you have. It is always there for you. It gives you what you need. It talks to you all the time. What kind of friend are you in return? Do you know your body’s language, how it communicates? Join us to learn how you can deepen your relationship with your body and be the friend your body needs in return.

The Brain at Work: Heather Hobbs

The brain invites a whole new world of discovery to how the mind functions and processes information. This incredible journey inside the anatomy and willpower of the mind encourages growth in understanding and insight to thoughts, habits, depression, anxiety, addictions and recoveries. Neurological pathways await to be uncovered as we embark into a space of expanding possibilities for our mind. 

Conscious Language: Kelly Kunz    

We don't always recognize the impact of what we hear or say; however, words can have the ability to empower and encourage positive actions.   When we become aware of these words, we can change them to support our journey to success. In this class, we will provide an interactive exploration of the benefits of positive conscious language. 

Core Training: Katie Bagley

Come ready to participate in some core training that is specifically focused on isolating and strengthening the core. This is an active workout class so wear clothes you will be comfortable in while stretching and moving the body.

Creation Science For The Home: Kelly Kunz  

As offspring of our Creator we are all creative beings.  Children are especially curious about the world around them.  They love to explore and experiment  to find the rules of their environment.  As rules are discovered they naturally apply those rules in creative ways.  Come and join us as we explore ways to facilitate and enhance that natural tendency and encourage creative development.  Investigating the rules of our Creator will aid our own understanding and application in becoming the creative beings we are meant to be.​

Can you beat the other team through the labyrinth in time? Work as a team to discover the clues  and find your way out through a pile of mysteries. Together, solve the mysteries of the Lost Labyrinth.

How could He do that?
Do you ever wonder how God could do some of the things He has done?  Join us as we explore some of the laws of science in an effort to increase our understanding of our Earth, it's creation, and our experiences here on our God given home. 

John Adams and the Levels of Education: Ben Bodrero 

​John Adams was an amazing individual whose contributions to the founding of America cannot be overestimated. A particular quote outlines the levels of education for a free and prosperous society. This presentation develops from that quote for a unique perspective on what each generation must do to create and maintain true freedom and liberty.

Jump For Joy: Emily Bodrero

Lets get out the jump ropes! Come learn how to play Chinese Jump Rope and some fun jump roping chants and tricks with short and long ropes.

The Message of the National Monument to the Forefathers: Matrix of Liberty: Ben Bodrero

​The National Monument to the Forefathers is a stunning 81ft tall granite monument built in Plymouth, Massachusetts to honor the ideals of our Pilgrim Forefathers that eventually became foundational to the United States of America. Despite it’s important and timely message, few people know about the monument. Learn how freedom principles have been symbolically represented in statue and art forms with amazing sequence and relation to give understanding to how true liberty is created and maintained.

Montessori Educational Philosophy: Kathy Packer

Kathy will teach how Dr. Maria Montessori developed the Montessori educational philosophy in 1907 with principles from Maslow’s Theory of Basic Needs and Bloom’s Taxonomy before these well-known scientific theories were accepted.

Join me as we journey back to World War 2 and rediscover the events surrounding the great battleship that rightfully earned its name as the "Battleship That Would Not Die." Discover why the USS Laffie was the miracle of battleships.

Dance Around the World: Lisa Gillespie

I look forward to presenting DANCE AROUND THE WORLD.  With your preschooler we will explore dance and music from Africa, Mexico, Hawaii and Europe.  We will learn about children from around the world, their food, stories, clothing and dances.

Fun, Furs & Antlers: Warden James Hobbs

Do you know your local wildlife and how to identify them by their furs? Do you know the difference between a horn and an antler? Can you tell what wild animals visit your home at night. Come feel, hold and learn about the wildlife in this area.
