POWER TO CHANGE |
Why This Program? I love learning new things and enjoy applying them to my life so that I can improve who I personally am. Unfortunately, there have been snags that have kept me from being able to establish some very impactful new habits into my routine. I have desired these new habits to be implemented and built upon in my home for a long time with many attempts or good intentions for them to stick and be successful. However, despite the many efforts, some of the desired habits just weren't lasting. I couldn't understand why some habits became integrated beautifully into my daily routine while others did not. Thankfully, over the past several years I have had the opportunity to rub shoulders with some pretty amazing people that have guided me on my journey to self discovery. With them, I have gained a great knowledge and understanding which has empowered my will to become who I am today. The Power to Change comes from an accumulation of wonderful resources including the books 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, How to Change Anything, Influencer and Atomic Habits, as well as training from Crucial Learning and 3 Key Elements.

Discover & Define
Discovering and defining individual cycles, habits and lag improve one's ability to see what can be adjusted to create a healthier lifestyle. Taking the time to reflect on reoccurring cycles that seem to hold one back in a specific area creates the awareness necessary to empower change. Understanding what one's individual cycles are, how they effect unhealthy and healthy habits as well as understanding the areas in which one finds lag (a space which has been given the intention to change, but has not yet changed) is the first step in creating habitual adjustments to help one establish an improved lifestyle. |
Routine & Keystone Habits
Identifying one's current routine will provide spaces of recognition to occur that will be used to pin point current habits and how to adjust those habits to become more helpful in reaching desired goals. An individualized tracking method supports one in following through with their new desired habit and routine. This method is not an all size fits all and requires an added measure of attention. One will also identify and initiate a set of keystone habits that empower the process of expanding a simple action into a spiraling influence to encourage more positive lifestyle choices. |
Cues
Through examining habits more closely one can create an interrupt in a cycle that they no longer desire to have serve them. The interrupt, then, creates a new pathway and invites a new habit to be born. Though this process may have been initiated many times before when one has tried to create a new habit in the past, certain actions must also be initiated and developed in order for it new habit to last. Through the process of awareness and creativity, cues will also surface around the desired interrupts of a cycle or routine. Setting cues in place at the base of the interrupt establishes a greater appeal towards activating the new desired habitual cycle and empowers the new habit to become a lasting choice of action. |
Master Scripts, Rewards & ROI
The words and phrases one tells themself has a large impact on what one might call self- fulfillment prophecy. While the phrase 'you are what you think' has been proven effective in a countless number of studies, it is far more valuable to set the perimeters of the psyche in the form of truth scripts. These master scripts provide one to experience the act of change in all of the sensory areas. In initiating specific desired sensory emotions, which connect positively to a new habit, one invites a form of reward or celebration to generate a deeper motivation to continue the desired change in lifestyle choice. |
Experiment & Repetition
Practicing and adjusting the elements of creating and implementing a new habit to become a lifestyle choice is valuable. The more one practices, the better they become with understanding their own intrinsic system and the easier it becomes to apply new habits to their lifestyle. Tracking different modalities that tend to work better than others within the methods taught provides a space where the variety of modalities can be improved upon and perfected. The tracking provides, even a subconscious, validation of the effectiveness of the habit breaking and creating process which encourages the willpower to continue in the effort of eliminating habits that no longer serve one positively as well as creating new habits that serve one better. |
