Course Description: There are many benefits to adding music and movement to any program or activity. Music has the ability to change energy and emotion in a given environment and can be a fabulous tool to help children understand different emotions better. When this is added to movement the emotion comes alive through forms of expression. Both music and movement also improve blood circulation and frontal lobe brain function. This course will provide knowledge and understanding of the effects of music and movement and its healthy benefits as well as tools to help support music time and other programs and activities you provide for young learners.
