Halfway through my son's 6th grade year, the head resource teacher told my husband and I to face the honest truth that our son would never be able to learn how to read or even write coherently. He would never graduate from high school or go to college. The frustration was at a peak and I knew I had to do something to find answers for my son, everyone else had just given up on him.
