KEYNOTE SPEAKER:
Miss Wyoming Adelaide Roberts I am Adelaide Roberts, I am from Star Valley Wyoming. Wyoming has always been a place where my family has found refuge. I enjoy the beauty of Wyoming especially paddle boarding on the different lakes. I recently returned from an 18-month service mission for my church. I was able to meet so many people and bring hope to some of the darkest places. I am an ambassador for Libertas International. Libertas International executes rescue missions to save individuals from sex trafficking. When I was on my mission for my church I saw the reality of slavery. I felt helpless, and working with Libertas International gives me a way to never feel helpless again. To learn more about this organization go to libertasfreedom.org. I hope for this year as Miss Wyoming for America Strong is to help individuals find refuge and to help bring light to the darkness. Not everyone my age gets to wear a beautiful crown. |

At an early age, musical storytelling, dance and performing arts filled my imagination with magic. As a result, for the past 25 years I have been involved in various projects such as the Waterford Institute Pilot Program in 1995, The Timpanogos Storytelling Festival, The Rippy Literacy Center in Lehi Utah, and Time Out For Women with Hilary Weeks and Pure Expressions. In the early 2002’s I started my own Ballet School and Performing Arts Preschool, discovering the benefit of community outreach and cultural connection. We organized cultural events and performances within the schools, special-needs groups and literacy events such as Books and Ballet. |
